I’m Cher Louise Jones — a teacher, author, and creator of practical stories and resources designed to help children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

After more than two decades working in education across primary, secondary, SEND, and behaviour support roles, I’ve seen how much children benefit when learning is paired with emotional understanding, structure, creativity, and connection.

Through Feisty Scholar and its children’s imprint Feisty Kids, I create picture books, printable resources, and workshops that support children, parents, and schools with real-world challenges such as emotional regulation, screen-time balance, resilience, behaviour, and self-confidence.

My work combines classroom experience with storytelling to create resources that are practical, engaging, and emotionally meaningful — helping children feel understood while giving adults tools they can genuinely use.
