Hello, I’m Cher Louise Jones.

I’m a teacher, author, and creator of children’s books and educational resources that help children understand themselves, build confidence, and navigate life’s challenges.

For more than 20 years, I have worked with children across primary, secondary, and SEND settings. Throughout my teaching career, I have seen the power of stories to spark conversations, answer difficult questions, and help children make sense of the world around them.

Inspired by those experiences, I create picture books and resources that explore important themes such as friendship, self-esteem, resilience, grief, emotional wellbeing, diversity, and personal growth. My aim is to support parents, teachers, and caregivers with engaging stories that children enjoy while providing opportunities for meaningful discussion and learning.

At Feisty Scholar, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, understood, and capable of achieving great things. Through imaginative storytelling and practical resources, I hope to help children develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive.
